For those who know better the cuisine of the Spanish capital, give me your opinion, I want to do a sequel! If someone is not the capital you intend to rent an apartment in Madrid for a few days.
Da'Cuchuffo: bathed in dim light the candles creates a fun atmosphere to spend with family, friends or couples rhythms spiced with jazz, rock or the best house depending on the day. Its colorful interior reflects a lively and cheerful, where the relationship to the customer is friendly and very cordial. The chef, Rodrigo Moyano, offers a full range of typical dishes with home but with a constant creativity. We recommend the Argentinian meat, duck or stuffed pasta. Hours: Wednesday to Sunday from 13'00 to 20'30 to 16'30 and 24'00. Average price: 20 euros (value very well). Phone: 91 542 32 03.
Amayra: located in the Hotel Regina has wanted to join the cuisine of the capital, renewing both the restaurant's decor as the focus of your kitchen. It offers Mediterranean cuisine with a modern twist, in which the product is the star of the season, very elaborate dishes beautifully presented. Highlights the impressive wine cellar, with over 60 carefully selected references, and specialties like foie-gras mousse, duck magret with orange or tiramisu. The restaurant also features two multipurpose rooms with the possibility of union, in a classic and cozy. Hours: 13:30 to 16:00 and 20:30 to 22:45. Phone: 91 521 47 25.
Tandoori Station: This restaurant offers a cuisine with dishes fresh and intense flavor, made with good products and reasonable prices. Some of the specialties of the house are roasted in the oven 'Tandure', curries of chicken, lamb, fish and seafood, rice biryani ... You have to try the 'palak paneer', a puree of spinach with curry. Moreover, the pattern, Nadeem, kindness and help is all very clever and useful to indigenous customers less familiar with this cuisine. One of the weaknesses of this restaurant are the wine: better not risk it. Average price: 20 to 25 euros.
Maison Blanche, located in the Chueca area, the restaurant features a pure white decoration (chairs, walls, columns, flowers, tables ...) that make it elegant and distinguished at a time. With this air of modernity, the restaurant offers an international menu prepared with the latest culinary techniques with dishes like foie strudel with caramelized apple and goat cheese, steak tartare or traditional chocolate soufflé. This site does you can taste fine wines. Average price: 30-35 euros. Phone: 91 522 82 17.
The sanabresa: one of the oldest eateries in Madrid. No frills, the restaurant offers a variety of dishes from the highest quality. It is very cheap for the amount you get and the quality of food, but not recommended for a special occasion that the premises have no charm. There are two problems: first, that is always busy and the second is not possible to make reservations. They are quick to serve. The stuffed peppers and bacon from heaven my favorite dishes. Daily menus available between 9.50 and 10.50 euros and a weekend special menu for 12 euros. Phone: 91 429 03 38.
