Christmas trip to Paris in

The "Galette de Rois? is the French version of our twisted roll of kings coming, say, a chef at the court of Louis XV, who wanted to entertain the monarch on the day of the Epiphany. The jewel that he wanted to give him a place among the puff pastry and almonds, an idea that spread among the aristocracy during his tenure to cause great admiration. Somewhat later expand to Europe to reach Spain. The truth is that whether or not this origin in Spain comes to our traditional gift-giving while regions of France, as Montbéliard, the old Tia Airi distributed without cake present to accompany him on the morning of 25 December. Christmas adds to these a number of traditions identified by their uniqueness to certain people and at least one generally agree, the Christmas lights. Paris does not require large outlays to be considered the city of lights, and since the eighteenth century holds in its imaginary intellectual openness and development of the arts. Yet we can not deny that the Christmas decorations still further adorned the city than in other seasons, which has a stunning night lighting of monuments.

From 23 November until January 15, visitors will have the opportunity to discover this new scenario for which we could go on but among the many routes we can not forget certain stops. More than 125 streets and squares designs rivaling the most famous shopping arcades. The Lafayette, Le Bon Marché or BHV took the initiative of the Printemps as their own and compete annually in the best proposal. We must not overlook the opportunity to see seven tree heights that adorns the top of the first Hassmann Boulevard. We can also use the visit to climb to the lookout and watch the night Paris was inaugurated in December from five in the afternoon.

The Eiffel tower flashes every hour for five minutes while facing the Palais de Chaillot the lights of the sources in the Trocadero gardens. A show for those who must have controlled the clock, but that is not the only way to live the Christmas celebration in Paris. The Champs Elysees leave a trail of lights to the Arc de Triomphe, while in the square of Notre Dame celebrate the holidays with the usual fir red balls. So far, the financial outlay has been minimal, but Christmas means homemade ornaments for purchase will be very useful to the market for flowers and birds. We may overwhelm the variety of Christmas items among which we must acquire at least a wreath, typical French holding tables. Common among the Parisians is to use the ice rinks of the Montparnasse district, the Town Hall or in front of the Hotel de Ville, as well as excursions to the surroundings. If traveling with children is a good idea to meet Disneyland (34 kilometers), but something more special if we should approach Amiens.

One hour from Paris will run with the lights of the cathedral, declared world heritage by UNESCO, with the usual holiday decorations market. On our return, and during the stay in Paris we determine where we will overnight. At this time it extends the range of possibilities and raise prices. If we look bizarre we contemplate settle in an igloo in the Aquitaine region or staying near the home of Santa Claus and his elves in Champagne-Ardenne. These and other similar alternatives will involve a significant financial outlay, it is advisable for travelers with limited resources to join the fashion of the hostels in Paris. If we present a cost about 20 € per night in shared room of memory perhaps we can take any of the 13 desserts that characterize the end of the year from one location to the north of Paris, Lille.
