The new Tiguan is already Coming
A few months ago is already hearing rumors of the new Tiguan and have even seen spy photos showed us their existence.
But not until next October to coincide with the Paris Auto Show as we can see in all its splendor the Tiguan 2011 and to say whether it is really a miniature of the Touareg or not.
Following the photos we have seen and although there were of high quality, we have observed slight changes, nothing extreme, but if an improvement in their lines as a new front fog lights and LED daytime renovated in the style of the classic Audi.
On the inside the changes appear to be less conspicuous as they aim to improve climate control with new functions.
As for engines seems to be maintained above although its efficiency has been tweaked to make them more powerful engines with lower fuel consumption.
Although not confirmed are also spoken of the introduction of two new engines, one diesel and one petrol, 1.6 and 1.4 engines of 105 and 122 horsepower respectively.
The other engines will be the familiar 1.4 TSI 150 PS petrol (front wheel drive or full), 2.0 TSI 170 and 200 hp (AWD only) and diesel, the 2.0 TDI 140 hp (front wheel drive or full) and the 170 hp (AWD only).
It has also been rumored the possibility of a new version with capacity for 7 passengers, though not confirmed either by the time we have seen any pictures to confirm it.
At the moment we have no patience to continue to maintain until the Paris Motor Show in October where we will discover the truth about the new Tiguan.
