Certainly it takes some understanding of how search engines rank and how to target different keyword phrases. To optimize a web page or a blog post for a targeted keyword phrase you stand a good chance of ending up on page 1 of some search engines.

Again using Google as an example are called all the ads that come down the center of the page organic searches. These sites have earned the right to be there according to Google. This is done by optimizing the website and get backlinks to it.

3. Another thing you can do is submit your website to search engines and directories. This may be a way to get back links and organic results for your site as well. There are companies that will do it for you, that automates the entire process and is much faster than manually trying to send the call to a directory search engine at a time.
