Importance of Organizational Behavior

Any company that wants to remain operational in the conquered markets and win, can not ignore the scope and impact of organizational behavior is generated, the climate that prevails in the company.
Therefore, management must ensure that all its resources, especially human is fully committed to their duties, under the leadership imperative, as well as the organizational culture that has been generated.
For the case of Venezuela, a country that we are concerned, it is unfortunate that many managers, especially those in charge of SMEs have not paid attention, care that is required to under the circumstances of a turbulent, uncertain, risky and much uncertainty which faces, derived from the actions of the current government, its programs, measures and have affected many companies in its operation, especially organizational behavior leading to multiple stop working.
It is necessary to determine the extent that organizational behavior provides and be vigilant of their behavior in order to give way to plans, actions to ensure its benefits will be reflected with a harmonious organizational climate, productive.
Well we said, that organizational behavior is a field of study that investigates the impact that individuals, groups and structures have on behavior within organizations, in order to apply this knowledge to improve efficiency of such organizations. It is a scientific discipline whose knowledge base is constantly adds a great deal of research and conceptual developments. But it is also an applied science, and that information on effective practices in an organization can be extended to many other and leave the departmentalism.
Is a field of study because it is a specialty-cut and with a common set of knowledge that studies three determinants of organizational behavior: individuals, groups and structure. Apply the knowledge gained about individuals, groups and the effect of structure on behavior, with the aim of better performance in organizations. This scheme of levels is very important when drawing conclusions. For example, motivation can be described in terms of the main interests of a group of people, but as individual variable as it is at that level where it originates.
Another axis is related to the concrete and the abstract in our talk about the problems that studies organizational behavior. The level is more concrete and objective behavior, observable be quantified more easily. A second level are the attitudes understood as dispositions to act in the people, and finally the values that are the most abstract level and show us guidance for our behavior. As an example, we think that we are partners, but in an argument we can prove uncooperative attitude in front of scenarios, and practice can be rather wary of giving our support. This is the most difficult to study organizations: the inconsistency and the gap between what is said and done, which is complicated when we add hierarchies (power) and accepted patterns of behavior, sometimes, for all (culture) .

Therefore, the managers concerned, learn to probe for explanations. Predicting the future behavior of employees is another objective of organizational behavior. Ideally, administrators would be able to predict which employees will be engaged and productive, and which are characterized by absenteeism, tardiness or disruptive behavior at one point (so that preventive action is possible). The ultimate goal is control of organizational behavior, at least in part, and develop some human activity at work. Administrators are responsible for the performance results, so vitally interested in effects on behavior, skill development, teamwork and productivity of employees. They need to improve outcomes through their actions and those of its employees, and organizational behavior can help them achieve that purpose.
Some people fear that the tools of organizational behavior are used to restrict their freedom and depriving them of their rights. While this is possible, it is also unlikely, since the actions of managers are subject to major revisions. Administrators have to remember that organizational behavior is a tool for the benefit of human beings. It applies broadly to the behavior of people in all types of organizations, including businesses, government agencies, schools and service organizations. Where there are organizations, there is a need to describe, understand, predict and improve the management of human behavior.
In short, companies can not escape the importance of organizational behavior and be careful what is the climate that prevails in the organization, generate prevent this downtime, motivation, conflicts that significantly affects the job stability and greater conflict can degenerate to make the company fail.
