Ciudad Juarez and drug trafficking

Ciudad Juarez and Drug Like many other Mexican cities, Ciudad Juarez has serious security problems, quality of life and governance. It is also one of the most enterprising, open to the world and prosperous country. It determines national identity in the midst of an accelerated process of globalization, and assimilated the most advanced technology while social problems are multiplied. What happens in Ciudad Juarez is not just a matter of its inhabitants. The problems of society are the same that are emerging in other large Mexican cities. The drug has been one of the elements that are part of the city, and has become a problem that could not fight the people and government of Juarez. There is so much corruption and violence in this city that President Felipe Calderon decided to militarize the city to terminate the massacres and crimes carried out during these years. The Army aims to guard the city, and be alert to traffic in arms and drugs. The Mexican Air Force will join eight helicopters Mi-17, MD-530 and Huey, a Hercules C-130 troop carriers and Arava.

The government indicates that there are at least four hot spots in organized crime has reduced the police presence and all these events have altered the life of society by the violence. This action is expected to peak in Juarez end the problem of crimes attributed to drug trafficking. As a citizen of Ciudad Juarez, I think this type of control to corruption, violence and drug trafficking, this excellent and actually reduced the killings and society after living in fear and have some peace in their homes. The safety of going to work, school or make daily life, at risk and with the help of authorities decreased this risk. Violence is, of course there are kidnappings, robberies and I think this is due to decreased movement of drugs that makes the kidnapping is the only income for drug money. Life in Ciudad Juarez is a little more quiet, and people appreciate the process that took place in recent months as the checkpoints, and the rounds on the streets of the city at any time of day have been of great help to live peacefully.

Personally I hope things improve in this city because it is a city with high expectations as it is across from El Paso, Texas and job growth, financial, technology is very important to the economy of Ciudad Juarez. And if these problems continue to exist Juarez came as a city would be affected.
